This Easter Sunday, we celebrate the RESURRECTION STILL TO COME! God has given us a guarantee that death is defeated - swallowed up forever - by our King's ultimate sacrifice!

In Luke, Jesus reminds us that all creation shouts His praise. But it is your choice if you will praise Him. Don’t wait for the rocks to shout His name! Join us this morning in shouting HOSANNA to our King!

We’ve been talking about God’s desire to intersect generations. God has a plan to pass the torch of the Kingdom, from one generation to the next. In order for us to do this - to be faithful to His divine plan - we have to turn our hearts to one another. From the young to the old, and the old to the young.

He was the Upside-Down King. He brought the Upside-Down Kingdom. And He taught and Upside-Down Life.

Jesus tells us: When you give, you receive. When you sow, you reap. And when you die to yourself, you find resurrection life!

“Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.” - Luke 9:23​-24

A kingdom was prophesied. But the kingdom they expected, was not the Kingdom that was coming. Jesus the Upside-Down King, was about to flip the world again. His Kingdom - one of grace-tempered Holy fire - promises forgiveness for all!

But he said, “I must proclaim (the good news of the kingdom of God) to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” - Luke 4:43​

Jesus was a table-turner. The one who turned tables on money changers in the Temple, lived a life contrary to the Roman and Greek culture of the time. In fact - Jesus flipped the entire narrative on what the ancients believed gods could be. From His humble birth, to his mercy and compassion, Jesus was, and still is, a god like no other.

Where others came - saw - and conquered. Jesus came - He saw - He surrendered.
