In the letters of Ephesians, before Paul instructs us how to walk as Christians, he instructs us how to sit as Christians. We need to learn to sit in the finished work of Christ, in order to walk in a healthy manner doing the work of God!

Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore it says, “When He ascended on high, He led captive a host of captives, and He gave gifts to men.”

Real Church // Part 10 // Communion of Saints at the Table of the Lord - Part 2

We have a destiny to bring glory to God! We have God's engagement ring - His Holy Spirit - a promise of His presence in us and with us forever!

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.

Real Church // Part 8 // What Are We Full Of?

We need to be a church of His presence like never before. His presence is the hope of the world! The differentiating factor. The hope of renewal and life and wholeness and recovery and refreshing. His Kingdom coming on earth as it is in Heaven.

 

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lordʼs people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Miracles can begin from the spoken word but are then brought to completion through our beautiful feet. The mission doesn’t end at the "Inn" but when that one is ‘setting the heavens in earthly places’, too!

Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, (so that it will give grace to those who hear)...Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

The Trinity has - and always will - EULOGIZE. The dead called to life. The living called to greater grace. And the Church to deeper dimensions of identity.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, ...made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

GOD has predestined each one of us to release the ministry of CHRIST into the earth! And what does that look like? Watching the work of the Master - and following in His footsteps!

Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted him to the place of highest honor and supreme authority in the heavenly realm! And now he is exalted as first above every ruler, authority, government, and realm of power in existence! And now we, his church, are his body on the earth and that which fills him who is being filled by it!

Real Church // Part 4 // Can We Help You Find Your Seat? // Part 2

We are called into God's great 'usher' program. It's His program, but more importantly it's His PASSION! Like Paul, we are called to to be ushers for our Heavenly Father - showing other's the riches and love God has bestowed on us. So again we're asking - can we help you find your seat?

Even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.

Real Church // Part 3 // Can We Help You Find Your Seat?

We are focusing on the importance of being seated where He wanted us to be seated in or relationships. And God wants to meet us every week and open our eyes to these unsearchable riches of His grace in Jesus Christ! Why? So that we might experience that same grace.

For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.

Real Church // Part 2 // Getting Real About Our Riches

Do you believe the gospel contains some really good news? Today as we continue our series Real Church, we want to give you some really good news - a realization of that you are His daughters and sons, a realization that you are no longer bound to what held you, and a realization of God's forgiveness that drenches you in peace and joy!

I never stop giving thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers. I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, would give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what is the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the mighty working of his strength.
